All You Need

Notes: Alright, here's number five from the Newlywed themes. I present you with "Family".

"What's that?" Kimblee asked, bending over the back of the couch to to look at the silver card in Archer's lap.

"An invitation to my cousin's wedding."

"You going?"

Archer set the card aside. "I wasn't planning on it."

"Why not? Don't you want to show me off to your family?" Kimblee asked, coming around to sit beside Archer on the couch.

"Not particularly. This is the first time that I've heard from them since I informed them of my own 'wedding'."

"Made some waves back home?"

Archer inclined his head. "More like a tsunami. If you think that I am uptight and repressed, you haven't seen anything until you've met my family."

"You're uptight, sure, but certainly not repressed. Not by the way you wail my name when we-"

Archer cut him off. "Must you be so crude?" He shot him an annoyed look.

"I wouldn't be me if I wasn't."

Archer rolled his eyes and looked away. His gaze ended up back on the silver and white wedding invitation.

"You sure you don't want to go to that thing?" Kimblee asked. "I'd be on my best behavior just for you babe."

Archer shook his head. "Why would I wish to be on the receiving end of their disapproving glares? I have no wish to voluntarily subject myself to that torture."

"Fuck them then. Who needs 'em?"

"I can certainly do without them."

"And what about me?" Kimblee asked.

Archer glanced at him. "What about you?"

"Could you do without me?"

"Most likely."

Kimblee growled as he pounced on Archer and pushed him down on the couch. "I like to think of myself as the only family you really need." He grinned as he swooped down for a kiss.

"More like all the family I can handle," Archer muttered, nipping at Kimblee's lips.

"I've got a little something I'd like you to handle baby," Kimblee purred, rubbing against him.

"So I've noticed." Archer slid a hand between their bodies. Amidst the shifting and shedding of clothes, the silver card got shoved between the couch cushions and settled next to some pocket change and a button from Archer's favorite shirt.

Well, there we go. A little bit of family fluffiness. I'm kind of astounded by how much fluff I'm squishing out of these two, but it's just so damn fun XD
